Land Clearing Carried Out at Pondok Ranggon TPU for COVID-19 Victims Burial Ground

Jakarta Bina Marga Agency assisted Park and Urban Forest Agency to prepare the land at Pondok Ranggon Public Cemetery (TPU), East Jakarta, as the funeral location for COVID-19 positive corpses.  

Now, the land can be used for the burial

Jakarta Bina Marga Agency Head, Hari Nugroho stated, land clearing was done to solve the funeral problems of COVID-19 victims.

"We have prepared and cleared the land since March 27, 2020 and finished it today. Now, the land can be used for the burial," he explained, Friday (4/3).

Sumur Batu Set Up Four Posts for COVID-19

According to him, this area wide i s 7,000 square meters.

"We collaborate with Park and Urban Forest Agency as our concern and support to overcome COVID-19," he added.

For information, Jakarta Government has prepared Pondok Ranggon TPU and Tegal Alur TPU as the cemetery for dead victims of COVID-19.
